Butterflies are free

Yesterday was such a glorious spring day, so I decided to head over to the Montreal Botanical Gardens where they are having their 12th annual Butterflies Go Free exhibit. It's a wonderful experience walking amongst these beautiful fluttery creatures. At least half a dozen of them landed on me during my visit.

"How does one become a butterfly?
You must want to fly so much
that you are willing to give up
being a caterpillar."

These are wonderful, and I love the treatment. There is a Butterfly centre near where I live. I have thought about going and trying to get some good shots. Have you any tips?

I love how dreamy your pictures are. What kind of camera do you use?

I just found you on etsy, and well lets just say I adore your work! I was looking for the perfect Birthday Present for my sister in law. She loves everything French, hence she is a French Teacher and I was looking for the perfect prints of Eiffel Tower. You made it possible. I am so excited to see it. Thank you!

Illusio Creative: I used a long lens (70-200mm), though at times I could get quite close to them. I tried to pay attention a lot to the background. I think that getting good compositions is difficult when you know you don't have much time because your subject might flutter off at any moment.
