Loved Vernazza! That's the village I choose to stay in for 4 days. It's so beautiful, of course all of them are!

These are simply beautiful. There is so much meaning behind each one and they all tell a different story.

I love cinque terra. I got to visit when I was 12 and then again when I was 16. I love how you can see the quilt out of that one window!! :)

Irene, looking at your images ... of anywhere ... I feel like, why should I even bother taking pictures? It's impossible to capture a place any more poetically or elegantly or artistically than this.

I have a lot of favorite travel photographers, but, so far as I am concerned, you are the most lyrical out there, working today.

A tilt-shift lens has long been on my list of lenses to acquire - alas, the price keeps putting me/it off - so for now I'm still happy to experiment with the limits of my Lensbaby Composer.

Anyway, I feel like we have a similar flavor, but that my work will never achieve the level of lovely that yours enjoys. Kudos. You have an incredible eye and style.

I've kept your blog open these past few days gazing at your cinque terre photos over and over again. They are just beautiful.

risamay: Thank you so so much for your very kind words. But please don't every feel that you shouldn't be taking photographs when you look at another photographer's work. Though please do let them inspire and excite you!
